Ultrasonographer Echo in non-invasive cardiology is needed in Temple, TX. This position involves performing basic to intermediate cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, to assist in diagnosing and assessing cardiac abnormalities. The role requires working independently in an extremely busy department, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Ultrasonographer Echo performs basic to intermediate cardiac ultrasound services for adult patients, including preparation, imaging, reviewing results, and reporting findings to support diagnosis and patient management.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA only), RDCS or RCs, minimum of 3 years of experience, extensive Level I Trauma experience, flexibility to work evenings, and ability to work independently.
• Schedule: Evenings shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be able to work independently and keep pace in a busy department. The role involves assisting physicians during complex procedures, preparing patients, and maintaining equipment. Experience with transesophageal studies and sterilization protocols is required. Candidates should have strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles.
