Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in St. Petersburg, FL. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric patients within the healthcare facilitys designated unit, supporting patient safety and recovery through clinical expertise.
Job Details
- Location: Northside Hospital, 6000 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2 years of acute care experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with intubation and A-line insertions is considered an asset.
- Responsibilities: Providing respiratory therapy to pediatric patients, utilizing ventilators such as PB 840 and PB 980, adhering to unit policies and procedures, and collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
- Schedule: Night shifts, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have the specified certifications and experience for consideration.
