Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist (XRAY TECH) Location: Not specified. This position involves performing imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. The role requires maintaining equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and monitoring procedure effectiveness within a rotating shift schedule.
Job Details
- Position Description: Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, patient comfort, and monitor need for procedure revisions. Coordinate daily imaging procedures and carry out other duties as assigned.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), NJ State RT License, ARRT, BLS (Basic Life Support); Education: Graduate of Accredited Radiography School; Experience: 0 years minimum; Location: Not specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care of all equipment; Knowledge of trends in clinical practice and healthcare informatics; Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and communication skills.
