Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technologist, Non-Invasive Cardiology) Temple, TX
This position involves performing basic to intermediate cardiac ultrasound services for adult patients, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. The role requires interpreting imaging results, preparing patients, and collaborating with physicians to diagnose and assess cardiac abnormalities.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA only), RDCS or RCS with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including extensive Level I Trauma experience.
• Education Requirements: Relevant certification(s) as specified.
• Location Requirements: Must be able to work in Temple, TX.
• Years of Experience: 3 years minimum experience.
• Schedule: 5x8s, 0730-1630 (Tuesday-Friday) & 0600-1400 (Saturday), with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be able to work independently and handle a busy department. Proficiency in performing transesophageal studies, preparing equipment, reviewing images, and analyzing clinical data is required. The candidate should be familiar with infection control procedures, patient confidentiality, and relevant laws. Strong communication skills and knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology are essential for success in this role.
• Responsibilities include obtaining clinical history, performing echocardiograms, assisting with complex procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met. The role involves acting as a resource for staff and physicians and participating in accreditation activities as delegated.
