Job Summary
MRI Technologist MRI Location: Not specified. This position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures under the supervision of certified radiologists. The role includes assisting radiologists, supervising student technologists, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining high standards of imaging quality. The position is scheduled for dayshift, with a focus on delivering efficient patient care in a clinical environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Fridays from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, working 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Card; three years of MRI experience; graduate of an accredited Allied Health Professionals school; experience with cross-sectional anatomy or MRI preferred.
• Responsibilities include performing MRI exams, instructing and preparing patients, ensuring proper documentation, operating MRI equipment safely in accordance with ALARA and other regulatory standards, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting team members as needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, TJC standards and regulations is required.
• The position may require work under stressful conditions, weekends, holidays, and possible on-call duties.
