Pharmacist Inpatient The healthcare provider is seeking an inpatient pharmacist to join the team. This role involves dispensing medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners, providing medication information to patients, and advising healthcare professionals on drug selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects. The position offers an opportunity to deliver safe and effective pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evenings shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Weekend and holiday rotation required.
- Required Qualifications: Licensure/certification verification, previous Epic electronic medical record system experience within the last 12 months preferred, and a minimum of zero years of experience.
- Responsibilities include dispensing medications, advising on medication use, and ensuring pharmaceutical safety and effectiveness.
- Certifications and education requirements are aligned with pharmacy licensure standards.
- Experience requirement: 0 years minimum.
