Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location unspecified. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within the healthcare facility. The position requires competency in neonatal and pediatric respiratory procedures, including ventilator management and neonatal resuscitation techniques. The therapist will work independently on flexible shifts, covering days, mids, and nights, and must be adaptable to department needs.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, Mids, & Nights with flexible scheduling; 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); CA licensure; NICU experience; competent in performing electrocardiograms (EKGs); ventilator experience, preferably with Hamilton ventilator; ability to work independently; current licensure in the state.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in neonatal intensive care units (NICU); ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Information: Must have at least one year of experience in related respiratory therapy roles. The job involves flexible shifts and may require coverage on holidays and weekends as needed.
