Job Summary
X-ray Technologist in Radiology Located in St. Louis, MO. This position involves assisting radiologists and performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including interventional and special procedures, utilizing general x-ray, fluoroscopy, and C-arm equipment. It requires collaboration within a team and independent work to deliver high-quality patient imaging services.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS (from American Heart Association), successful completion of an accredited Radiography program, minimum 2 years of hospital experience involving patient populations from inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operating room settings, and valid licensure.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role includes rotating between OR, GI, minors, and inpatient/outpatient units, with responsibilities such as assisting with interventional procedures (e.g., myelography, hysterosalpingography, arthrography), general x-ray procedures, and working as part of a cohesive team or independently. The candidate must be available for orientation during daytime hours. Night orientation is provided, and flexibility for working holidays and every other weekend is required.
