Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in Hawaii. This position involves providing therapeutic services to adult patients in both outpatient and acute rehabilitation settings. The role requires evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician prescriptions, managing a full caseload, and working with electronic medical records systems.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Hawaii license; BLS certification from American Red Cross; minimum 2 years of experience working with adults in outpatient and acute care settings.
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include evaluating and re-evaluating patients, developing therapeutic programs, updating treatment plans, and managing caseloads independently.
- Equipment utilized in the department includes EMR systems such as Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
- Additional requirements include working Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.
- Arrival is required the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on the following day.
