Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) The organization is seeking a qualified inpatient physical therapist for a 13-week assignment scheduled to begin on November 9, 2026. This role involves providing therapeutic services to adult and geriatric patients within a rehabilitation facility, ensuring quality care and adherence to clinical standards.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: BLS certification, Alaska Physical Therapist License (or compact license), at least 1 year of experience required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Experience: At least 1 year of relevant inpatient physical therapy experience, with familiarity in acute care settings, adaptive devices, gait training, and patient education.
- Additional Information: The assignment requires working 5 days a week with two weekend shifts per month. Candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility, and prior work at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or registry/per-diem is required for consideration. Two references covering the last 3 years are needed.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to inquiries about prior Providence facility experience and submit references prior to start. No direct facility contact unless scheduled for an interview.
