Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available in a rehabilitation facility. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients within a dedicated rehabilitation setting. The assignment offers a 13-week duration starting from November 9, 2026, with scheduling options of 5x8 days or 4x10 days, requiring weekend shifts twice per month.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, Alaska Physical Therapist License (or compact license)
- Education Requirements: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Location Requirements: Candidates must have a valid Alaska license or compact license in hand at the time of submission; local candidates are not accepted.
- Experience: At least 1 year of clinical experience in inpatient physical therapy.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/08/2027.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute care, adaptive devices, gait training, post-operative rehabilitation, and electronic charting (preferably Epic).
- Additional Information: Prior inpatient or rehabilitation experience is advantageous. Candidates may be expected to float within scope to meet facility needs; candidates should be flexible and available for scheduled weekend shifts.
- Submittal Requirements: Must include responses regarding previous work at Providence facilities, including location and dates, and provide two references covering a 1-year period within the last 3 years.
