Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist, NUC Location unspecified. This position involves performing in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides, including doses for PET/CT scans, under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role requires ensuring quality control and quality assurance procedures are followed, along with accurate data entry in hospital systems.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program; Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB); minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist; AA or BS degree in nuclear medicine from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include performing nuclear medicine procedures, dosing patients with radiopharmaceuticals, completing quality control and assurance, and accurate data entry.
  • Candidates must have experience with PET/CT scans.
  • Previous employment with Johns Hopkins system must be noted if applicable; candidates who worked in any capacity must have been gone for at least 1 full year before applying as a traveler.
  • Submission of a coversheet and verification of previous Johns Hopkins employment are required before a candidate receives an offer.
