Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Bridgton, ME. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services in a critical access hospital that offers emergency care, medical-surgical, oncology, orthopedics, cardiology, and diagnostic services. The role requires working independently to manage ventilator patients and perform treatments in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: Bridgton, ME
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, guaranteed
• Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and at least 5 years of experience working independently in respiratory therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include vent management, non-invasive ventilation (NIV), high-flow oxygen therapy, humidified high-flow nasal therapy (HHN), ABGs (Arterial Blood Gases), and oxygen therapy. Candidate must be able to work night shifts with a pattern of Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, or a 36-hour night shift schedule.
