This position involves providing specialized mammography imaging services within a healthcare organization. The Mammography technician will perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, with potential to support various departments as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Licenses: BLS (Basic Life Support), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), CA (California license), CA Fluoro, and CA Mammo and/or ARRT Mammo certification
- Experience: At least 2 years of mammography experience, with a minimum of 1 year required
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and screening mammograms, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and documenting procedures accurately.
- EMR Type: Epic
- The candidate must be available to start as soon as possible, with a contract period of 13 weeks ending on 01/16/2027.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
