Respiratory Therapist in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) located in Minnesota. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care under medical supervision across multiple hospitals, with a focus on neonatal care.
Job Details
- Location: The organization requires Respiratory Therapists to be willing to float between three hospitals: Children's Minnesota at Chicago Ave, Minneapolis; Children's Minnesota at Smith Ave, St. Paul; and Allina Mercy at Coon Rapids Blvd, Coon Rapids.
- Position Description: Title: NICU Respiratory Therapist. Responsibilities include performing specific respiratory care duties under medical supervision.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current licensure with State of Minnesota as a Respiratory Therapist, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, and Level 4 NICU experience.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts of 12 hours, including 2 straight days and 2 straight nights per week, totaling 48 hours weekly.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Start Date: 10/26/2026
- End Date: 01/16/2027
- Certifications: Current BLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC credentials required.
- Additional Information: The assignment is 12 weeks long, with the healthcare professional performing respiratory duties in neonatal intensive care units. The role involves working with Cerner electronic medical records system.
