Description

Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Dietitian specializing in pediatric and adult clinical nutrition to join the healthcare team. This position involves providing comprehensive nutritional care, assessment, and education within a Level II Trauma acute hospital setting, with a focus on pediatric and neonatal populations.

Job Details

Certifications: Registered Dietitian (RD/RDNS), Licensed in applicable state (pending license accepted)
Education: Appropriate bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
Location Requirements: Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; candidates with pending licenses are accepted.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including pediatric and neonatal nutrition knowledge; experience with Epic charting system preferred.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; no weekends.
Additional information: Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Medical documentation of Hep B vaccination (no titers or declination accepted). References required: 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start.
Responsibilities include delivering nutritional assessments, developing therapy plans for diverse patient populations (neonates to geriatrics), and utilizing Epic charting system. Candidates with at least 3 years of clinical experience are preferred, with expertise in enteral nutrition, total parenteral nutrition, and nutrition-focused physical exams.
