Job Details

• Position Description: This role involves delivering advanced respiratory therapy for pediatric patients, working off Respiratory Care Protocols to evaluate, assess, and treat patients with diverse diagnoses. The team works collaboratively with nurses, providers, and other caregivers in a supportive environment.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); valid respiratory therapist license; at least 2 years of experience working in adult critical care, aerosol set up, intubation, pediatrics, or related fields; current licensure in the state or a compact license in hand at submission.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be capable of working independently with good critical thinking skills to manage pediatric respiratory cases. Experience with equipment such as Drager V800V ventilators, V60 Bipap, and other respiratory devices is preferred. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities, and all module training must be completed pre-start and during orientation.
