The role supports both inpatient and outpatient pediatric populations, covering diverse treatment protocols and working within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Pediatric Physical Therapist assignment at an acute hospital setting, focusing on pediatric inpatient and outpatient care, with assignment length options of 13 or 26 weeks. The schedule includes 4x10 or 5x8 day shifts, with some weekends required.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS certification, Alaska Physical Therapist license, minimum 1 year of experience in acute care or pediatrics, valid state license in hand or pending license accepted, and skills in assessments, gait training, pediatrics, and patient education.
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, working 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Must have inpatient and pediatric experience, be willing to work some weekends and major holidays, and be prepared to float within the hospital as needed. Candidate must have a recent minimum of 2 years of experience if a first timer, and references covering at least one year within the last three years are required.
  • Submission Requirements: Include SSN, DOB, RTO details, and two references with at least one year of history within the last three years. Candidates must have or be able to obtain an Alaska license timely and are responsible for housing arrangements.
