Job Summary
Pediatrics Physical Therapist (PT PEDS) Location unspecified. This position involves providing pediatric physical therapy services for both inpatient and outpatient populations within a magnet facility, level II trauma, and US News & World Reports Best Hospital in Alaska. The therapy team will support pediatric patients across various age groups, delivering skilled care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details

  • Certifications: BLS, AK PT License.
  • Education Requirements: Licensure in the state of practice (pending license accepted, must have license in hand for auto offer).
  • Skills: Acute care, adaptive equipment, AROM/AAROM/PROM, assessment, body mechanics, cerebral palsy, concussion, crutches, developmental delays, discharge planning, early intervention programs, evaluation, gait training, hospital beds/specialty beds, individualized programs, long-term goals, milestone assessment, moist heat, muscular dystrophy, orthotics, outpatient clinic, pain assessment, patient family education, pediatrics, PICU, plan of care, reassessments, rolling walker, safety and injury prevention, scoliosis, sensory response, short term goals, sit to stand lift, sliding boards, specialty beds (air mattresses), spina bifida, spinal cord injury, standard walker, strength testing, TENS, torticollis, traumatic brain injury, ultrasound, wheelchair assessment.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient experience, pediatric experience, charting system experience with Epic.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must have inpatient pediatric experience, flexibility for some weekend shifts (approximately 1-2 per month), and willing to work holidays if scheduled. Travel compliance requires SSN, DOB, and RTO information at submission.
  • Open to submitting with a pending license, but license must be obtained within 10-12 weeks.
