Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist position is available at a short-term acute care facility. Located in the region, this role involves performing all diagnostic procedures, percutaneous coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology evaluations within the Cardiac Cath Services department.

Job Details

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or CCI RCIS, Washington State Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialty (CIS) license.
• Education Requirements: Relevant certified training in Cardiac Catheterization procedures.
• Location Requirements: Non-local candidates only; local candidates with residence within 50 miles are not eligible.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Key responsibilities include accurate monitoring of patient vitals, conduction and arrhythmia studies, cardiac ablations, device insertions including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (AICDs), and performing percutaneous coronary interventions and structural heart procedures.
• Additional responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique, operating specialized equipment such as the electronic fetal heart monitor, and participating in patient care activities across adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Candidates must be able to work one call day per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.
• Must provide responses to employment history questions, including any previous employment at a Providence facility.
• References: Two references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
