Radiation Therapist in Stockton, California. This position involves administering ionizing irradiation to patients per physician prescriptions, ensuring safety protocols, and providing comprehensive radiation therapy care in a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Position Description: Administers ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in radiological technology or equivalent; California licensure; Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T); Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor.
- Shift: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Delivers prescribed radiation therapy, explains procedures to patients, maintains treatment records, observes patients for reactions, and performs clinical supervision of students. All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
- Submission Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to start on 11/01/2026 and work through 01/30/2027, with no on-call requirements.
