Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered - RT PEDS Location unspecified. This position involves delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gases therapy to patients within the healthcare provider. The role requires maintaining clinical expertise and performing diagnostic procedures, while effectively communicating with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT); Current Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan; BLS certification; Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Trained NICU experience and additional skills in Peds ICU and Neonatal care are preferred. Candidates must have experience with EPIC electronic medical record system and additional skills with Puritan 980 machine, Hamilton Transport, and Servo U are preferred. ABG competency is required. Shift preference must be listed upon submission.
• Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Licensure in Michigan; BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Education: Associate of Science Degree, from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of recent ICU or Floor setting experience is preferred.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should list their shift preference upon application.
