Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (RTT) Days, Geriatrics and Adults The organization is seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join the healthcare team. This position involves providing advanced radiation therapy treatments, including stereotactic radiosurgery and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy, to adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, 0630am-9am start time, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license with at least 1 year of experience in adult acute care, outpatient radiation therapy, or related fields; experience with adult and geriatric patient populations; certifications in adult acute care; proficiency in electronic medical record systems, particularly Epic; specific skills in CBCT, kV/mV imaging, Electron Field, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), SBRT, and related equipment.
- Additional responsibilities include operating specialized equipment such as Toshiba CT simulators and Varian systems, completing modules pre-start and during orientation, and participating in a flexible schedule that incorporates working on holidays and weekends as needed.
- Clinical Expertise: Experience with specialized procedures including Treated Brain Tumors, Respiratory Gating, and Pancreatic Cancer, among others.
- Submittal Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding previous work at a Providence facility, with two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.
