Job Summary
A position for Xray Technologist located in Presque Isle, Maine. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services in various patient care areas, including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency departments, as well as operating room procedures. The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts, weekend work, and holiday rotation, supporting a diverse patient population with clinical tasks involving fluoroscopy, C-Arm, and general X-ray procedures.
Job Details
- Position Description: Xray Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a busy clinical environment, including fluoroscopy, fluoroscopy in the operating room, and general radiography.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (R), BLS certification, Maine State license, experience with OR/C-arm procedures, fluoroscopy experience preferred, 1-year experience accepted, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekend rotation.
- Additional Information: Support within the department includes lead tech assistance, internal transport, and radiologist coverage three days a week. The facility is equipped with Siemens, Cannon, Phillips, GE, and Siemens portable imaging equipment, with digital radiography via AGFA and PACS systems. Orientation is approximately 1-1.5 weeks, based on experience and comfort level.
