Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Outpatient Developmental Department The Woodlands. This position involves developing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment programs for patients from neonate to adulthood in an outpatient clinical setting. The role includes patient evaluations, collaborative goal setting with patients and families, and working alongside an interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Degree in Physical Therapy; valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Texas; minimum of 2 years of pediatric, womens health, orthopedics, or sports medicine clinical experience or 1 year of residency in these areas; or acceptable temporary licensure contingent upon permanent licensure prior to temporary license expiration.
• Schedule: Day shift on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with potential for 12-hour shifts on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with remote documentation if shift duration is extended.
• Position Responsibilities: Develops treatment plans based on evaluations, collaborates with the patient and family, monitors response to interventions, and recommends adaptive equipment. Coordinates with the care team, fabricates orthotic supplies, and assesses when to terminate therapy.
• Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of rehabilitative care for patients with acute and chronic conditions, excellent verbal and written communication skills, support of confidentiality, and ability to develop and follow therapy plans independently.
