Job Summary

The Florida-based Ultrasonographer General is responsible for performing a range of ultrasound examinations including general, vascular, and obstetric/gynecologic (OB/GYN) imaging. This role involves working in a busy acute care hospital environment, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to assist in patient treatment and care, with a focus on patient safety and technological proficiency.

Job Details

• Position: Ultrasonographer General
• Location: Florida
• Schedule: Tuesday 7 PM 7 AM, Saturday 11 AM 11 PM, Sunday 11 AM 11 PM. Call shifts between 6-10 times per month, including at least one weekend per month, rotating as primary or backup on-call technologist.
• Required Qualifications: ARDMS registration; experience in general, vascular, and OB/GYN ultrasound imaging; BLS certification; must be ARDMS registered, experienced on general, vascular, and OBGYN exams.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience; ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment; independent functioning skills.
• Additional Information: Technologists must be capable of performing Abdomen, OB/GYN, Transvaginal, vascular exams of upper and lower extremities, pediatrics, small parts, and NICU procedures. The unit utilizes GE Loqiq 9 and 10 equipment and Meditech Expanse documentation system.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their ARDMS registration and relevant ultrasound experience upon application.
