Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) Outpatient, Illinois. This role involves providing outpatient occupational therapy services for pediatric patients from birth through 18 years old. The position requires delivering therapy in various settings, including acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled, and outpatient environments, focusing on patients with sensory processing challenges, brachial plexus injury, fine motor delays, autism, and related conditions.
Job Details
- Position: Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP)
- Location: Illinois
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; three days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and two days from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least 1 year of pediatric experience, and active immunization compliance including a negative drug screen.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience for at least 1 year.
- Additional Information: The position involves outpatient occupational therapy for patients from birth to 18 years old, covering diagnosis such as sensory processing challenges, brachial plexus injury, fine motor delays, and autism. The role includes access to some supervision but may not always have onsite supervision. Orientation will be provided, and scrubs are preferred attire.
- Submission Requirements: Last four digits of clinician's SSN, active Illinois license or proof of application, and acknowledgment of the drug-free campus policy.
