Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Location unspecified. This inpatient acute care role involves providing specialized physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. The position requires delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: CA Physical Therapist Licensure, Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, BLS (American Heart Association), 2 years of inpatient unit experience, experience with orthopedic and neurological treatments.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic charting system, prior community hospital or LTAC experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of inpatient experience, including orthopedic and neurological care. Must be proficient in using adaptive devices, gait training, discharge planning, and managing various neurological and orthopedic conditions. The role involves charting and documentation per facility standards, with a focus on patient safety and recovery.
- Submittal Requirements: Must upload current CA Nursys license within 2 weeks, applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, and two references from within the past year.
