Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders across a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The position requires providing high-quality respiratory care during 12-hour night shifts, with scheduled on-call responsibilities and rotation of holidays and weekends.

Job Details

• Position Description: Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including supervision of respiratory care students. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. Provides respiratory care to neonatal, infant, toddler, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure and certification verification; 0 years of experience required; epic experience within the last 12 months required; minimum of 0 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, on an alternating schedule with holiday and weekend rotations; on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
• Additional Information: May cover other shifts as needed. A unit of mandatory low census coverage may be implemented weekly depending on patient load. Some pediatric experience is preferred. Previous epic experience is required.
