Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (RTT) The organization is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a temporary assignment starting October 26, 2026, and ending January 23, 2027. The role involves performing prescribed planned courses of radiation therapy in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and professional standards, while providing assessment, care, and treatment planning for patients.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT RT certification, Associate degree in radiation oncology or related field, licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable, BLS certification, 0 years minimum experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include operating treatment and treatment planning equipment, preparing and administering prescribed doses, documenting treatment processes, performing quality control, and ensuring radiation safety.
• Independently performs prescribed radiation therapy procedures following all policies and protocols.
• Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures and maintains compliance with safety standards.
• Performs equipment quality control and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities.
• May direct activities of students and support staff at select facilities.
• Provides excellent service to internal and external customers, including patients and regulatory agencies.
• The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of clinical care, effective communication skills, and be safety conscious.
• Additional requirements include familiarity with clinical techniques and equipment relevant to radiation therapy.
