Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient (SLP IP) position in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized therapeutic services to patients within a hospital environment, supporting recovery and rehabilitation efforts.
Job Details
- Position Description: Must have active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and California license. Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility. The assignment is scheduled for 10-hour days on a bi-weekly basis, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The start date is October 19, 2026, and the assignment concludes on January 18, 2027.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Active BLS certification, California license, COVID vaccine (certification required).
- Schedule: 10-hour Day shifts, every other weekend, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The unit notes specify that the hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment, or three shifts if the assignment is shorter than 13 weeks. The charting system used is Cerner.
