• Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Specialty: Physical Therapist SNF.
• Schedule: Shift (Days) from 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/18/2027
• Implements treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assists in carrying out therapeutic interventions designed to meet patients long-term goals, including posture training, strengthening exercises, balance exercises, and community re-entry training.
• Trains patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, or assistive devices.
• Demonstrates use of modalities such as whirlpools, ultrasound, therapeutic pools, and others.
• Monitors response to treatment, documents progress, and educates patients and families.
• Orders and instructs on the use of prescribed equipment.
• Maintains professional and ethical working relationships with patients and staff.
• Participates in team conferences and quality improvement projects.
• Attends continuing education and provides in-service education as requested.
• Follows all safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
• Displays customer service attitude toward patients, visitors, and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
