• Required Qualifications: Certifications in respiratory therapy, relevant education and licensure, location within the service area, and 0 years of experience.
• Additional Information: Provides quality patient care, administering intensive respiratory treatments, patient transport, and education. Operates ventilatory equipment, performs chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, pulmonary function studies, and assists with related procedures including bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. Performs tracheostomy care, arterial punctures, and monitors ventilation efficiency. Follows all policy-driven laboratory testing procedures, performs CPR according to BLS and ACLS guidelines, and operates mechanical ventilators. Maintains accurate documentation and communicates effectively during shift handoffs. Records treatments and patient responses, verifies respiratory therapy charges, and performs equipment maintenance.
