Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NUC) Location: Not specified. This role involves performing PET scans at a healthcare facility, with potential training provided on-site. The position offers a daytime schedule with no weekends or holidays required, and includes optional call shifts for interested candidates.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, NMTCB, CA State license (ARRT or NMTCB accepted), PET certification preferred.
- Education & Experience: 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine required.
- Location Requirements: Valid CA State license, willing to train on site if experience is sufficient.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Performing PET scans, general nuclear medicine studies, Lexi scans, PET/CT (non-diagnostic).
- Certification & Skills: Proficiency in bone, brain, cancer survey, cerebral blood flow, DTPA aerosol, exercise/rest protocols, flow/function studies, liver, liver flow, liver imaging, liver scan-Hemangioma, perfusion, pharmacological stress, renal, renal/perfusion, Sestamibi parathyroid scan, starting and maintaining IVs, three-phase scans, uptake scans, ventilation/perfusion, whole body scans, Lasix use, adult ICU procedures, EKGs, PACS system experience preferred.
- Other Details: No weekend shifts or holidays; optional call once per week with specific hours; orientation hours to be completed prior to start; travel experience required; flexible to train on PET skills if needed.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to specific screening questions, including prior work at a similar facility and references covering the last 1 year.
