Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in the region served by the healthcare provider is responsible for delivering specialized respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients in a high-acuity regional trauma center. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with respiratory conditions, utilizing advanced equipment, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.

Years of experience: 2 years required, 0 years minimum experience
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing high-risk assessments, operating critical care equipment such as Drager V800 ventilators, Vapotherm, Ambu bronchoscopes, and other advanced respiratory equipment, and participating in regional trauma and pediatric critical care protocols.
Candidates must provide two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years prior to start date.
Candidates should respond to questions regarding previous work at a regional Providence facility, including location and dates of employment, and their willingness to float between facilities.
Candidates are expected to work during regional trauma center hours, with adherence to scheduled shifts and holidays, including a minimum of three holiday shifts.
Modules related to training are non-billable and must be completed pre-start and during orientation.
