Respiratory Therapist, PEDS (Respiratory Therapist Registered) Located in a healthcare facility, this position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients. The role includes evaluating patient conditions, administering treatments, operating ventilatory and other respiratory equipment, and educating patients and their families about treatment plans and discharge procedures.

- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities include: Providing intensive respiratory care, operating ventilatory and aerosol devices, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, monitoring with oximetry and capnography, reviewing chest x-rays, conducting pulmonary function studies, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, performing tracheostomy care, arterial puncture, and maintaining equipment.
- Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation per BLS and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support guidelines.
- Operates, maintains, and monitors mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment, ensuring proper setup, self-testing, and routine maintenance.
- Records all treatment data accurately, communicates effectively during shift changes, and maintains proper documentation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
