Job Summary
MRI Technologist in the MRI specialty is located at a healthcare facility. This position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations, utilizing Philips or Siemens equipment, with a focus on MSK, Neuro, and Body scans. The role includes responding to call requirements every third week and supporting the radiology department's imaging needs.

Job Details

• Position Description: Perform MRI scans with special focus on MSK, Neuro, and Body imaging in hospital and clinic settings. Responsible for IV starts, creatinine draws, and maintaining accurate imaging records.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist ARRT (MR), licensed by the Texas Medical Board, experience with Philips or Siemens MRI equipment, and at least 2 years of experience in MRI.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM start, 8-hour shifts, with on-call responsibilities every third week from 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including Saturday and Sunday shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates may be asked to precept and should be familiar with 1.5T MRI devices, EMR & PACS (Meditech or Synapse), and have experience with IV starts or creatinine draws. The department has 1-2 MRI scanners per location and uses Philips and Siemens equipment; experience with these brands is highly preferred. Candidates should be willing to float between campuses if familiar with the equipment and available for rotational on-call shifts.
