Job Details

• Position Description: Inpatient Physical Therapist with outpatient therapy services at an off-site outpatient center approximately 2.5 miles away. The role includes managing adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, pulmonary, and medical conditions.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, experience in inpatient settings, proficiency in Cerner electronic medical record system, and the ability to work scheduled shifts of 10 hours, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Schedule: Shift hours are from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, four days a week (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The facility provides general department orientation with skills checklists and assigned clinicians. The unit handles adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs, including orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary conditions, with a focus on early mobility and stroke care. The hospital operates 24/7 pharmacy and respiratory services, with telemetry available on all inpatient floors.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) required.
