Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Location unspecified. This position involves providing rehabilitative physical therapy services in an acute care setting, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care. The role includes managing a caseload that features general treatment cases, orthopedic injuries, neuro conditions, amputations, and neck pain, with supportive nursing and therapy staff.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Texas and national licensed physical therapist, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shift rotations are possible.
• Additional Responsibilities: Candidates may be asked to precept, as needed by the unit. Very supportive staff, with cases including fractures, ortho injuries (sports), neuro cases, amputations, and neck pain. No acutely ill patients.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA).
• Notes: Candidates must submit a copy of their drivers license at the time of application for validation. The role includes covering inpatient and outpatient therapy, with some cases referred to a sister facility for specialized cases. Random cancellation of shifts is possible, up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
