Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in an acute care setting, specializing in adult and pediatric critical care, with a focus on emergency and intensive care units. This role involves providing essential respiratory therapy services such as ABGs, EKGs, ventilator management, and general RT duties across ER, ICU, CVICU, and ward environments, supporting both adult and pediatric patients. The position is based at a healthcare facility and requires working night shifts.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Unit notes include treatments varying by department, with multiple certifications required such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. RRT or CRT credentials are acceptable with certification through the American Heart Association.
• Required Qualifications:
  Certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP; educational background typically involves relevant certifications or degrees; location preferences include working in an ER, ICU, CVICU, or inpatient wards; minimum of 1-year experience preferred, but not required.
• Schedule:
  Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Additional Information:
  Candidates should be confident in adult critical care, capable of assisting in all areas of respiratory therapy, including intubation assistance if needed. No solo shifts are required, and flexibility to work at either campus (West or East) may be necessary. Float rotation may be required. Equipment used includes Avea, LTV, Zoll vents, V60, V30, SiPAP, Vapotherm, and Optiflow. Charting is performed using Cerner.
