Job Details

• Certifications: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS license) required.
• Education, Degree, or Location Requirements: None specified.
• Years of Experience: 0 years.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Job Details:
  • Providing intensive respiratory care, patient transport, and evaluating patient needs for treatment plans.
  • Operating ventilatory and nebulizer equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and oxygenation procedures.
  • Conducting pulmonary function studies, chest x-ray review, and basic arrhythmia recognition.
  • Managing airway devices including tracheostomy care and tracheal tube insertion/removal.
  • Monitoring patient ventilation efficiency, recording treatment responses, and adjusting care accordingly.
  • Performing emergency procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation in accordance with BLS and ACLS guidelines.
  • Assisting with advanced procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placement as per policy.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and respiratory therapy equipment.
  • Ensuring safe and effective operation and maintenance of ventilatory equipment.
