Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing all aspects of respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, including airway management, ventilator management, and advanced respiratory therapies. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in PICU or level 4 or greater neonatal intensive care units.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications. Minimum of 2 years experience working in PICU or level 4 neonatal intensive care units.
- Schedule: 12-hour days, with shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Perform all aspects of respiratory care including airway management, use of ventilators such as Hamilton and Servo, IPV, NAVA, cough assist, and intrahospital transport.
- Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA) Verification, BLS (AHA) Verification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Verification, PALS (AHA) Verification.
- License to Submit: Yes, willing to wait.
