Job Summary
Mammographer Mammography Location unspecified. This role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, and Savi Scout clip placements within a radiology department. The position requires delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT (Mammography), ARRT (Radiologic Technology), BLS (American Heart Association), Oregon Board of Medical Imaging License; minimum of 2 years' experience required.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 4-10's or 5-8's, 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include conducting screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, and clip placements, utilizing Hologic equipment.
  • Must have experience with Hologic mammography systems.
  • Department uses Merge PACS and Meditech EMR.
  • Department has one mammography scanner/room, no in-house radiologists 24/7, no IV starts required.
  • Scrubs are provided in black; colored undershirts are acceptable.
  • Brief orientation provided, including department and hospital tour.
  • Candidates are required to submit license to perform the duties.
