Job Summary
Radiation Therapist in Wyoming This position offers an opportunity to work in a close-knit, small facility providing radiation therapy services. The role involves operating advanced imaging equipment such as Vital Beam and True Beam, with a focus on breast, lung, prostate, head and neck, and esophageal treatments, including stereotactic procedures like SBRT and SRS.
Job Details
- Position: Radiation Therapist (RTT)
- Location: Wyoming
- Certifications: BLS Certification; State and national radiation therapy licenses; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and specialty certifications as required
- Education Requirements: Degree in Radiation Oncology or Radiation Therapy
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience, with experience on True Beam and Vital Beam machines highly recommended
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
- End Date: 01/18/2027
- Additional Responsibilities: Review imaging, physician requirements, and participate in patient treatments; no simulation duties required; orientation period of 1 week; no patient pediatric care involved
- Other Requirements: Wyoming State License and national license, valid EMR/PACS charting experience with Mosaiq system; small department with an in-house Radiation Medical Doctor; no need to start IVs; no call, no holiday coverage, no weekend requirement; flexible scrubs allowed; in-house training provided for orientation
