Description

Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in the healthcare sector is sought for an acute care setting. This role involves delivering general respiratory care, responding to care areas including pre and post surgical units as well as the emergency department, and providing rapid response and code blue assistance. Candidates must possess the necessary skills and certifications to meet diverse age group needs in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

Position Description: General respiratory care including response to all care areas, rapid response, and code blue calls. Must be competent in nebulizer administration and ventilator management.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certifications including ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC. A minimum of 2 years of recent relevant background preferred. Drivers license required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently with proper patient assessment and treatment recommendations.
Additional Information: Candates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience and meet the age-group care proficiency requirements. Fingernail policy prohibits artificial nails. Candidates may not be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with the organization, including those under the CommonSpirit umbrella. Candidates outside a 50-mile radius will be considered based on Drivers license verification.
