Description

Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) located in the healthcare setting, this role involves providing skilled occupational therapy services to adult patients in an acute inpatient environment. The position requires evaluating and treating adult acute care patients, assisting with discharge planning, and communicating safe mobility plans to the interdisciplinary team.

Job Details

  • Certification Requirements: BLS Certification; State License.
  • Education Requirements: Licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Location Requirements: Must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience as a licensed therapist.
  • Schedule: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, totaling at least 40 hours weekly.
  • Additional Information: Onboarding includes at least 2 days of unit-specific orientation with experienced staff. First-week schedule will be M-F for onboarding. Coverage includes all adult acute care except ICU, with ICU coverage only if previous strong ICU experience exists. No COTAs are staffed; 2 Rehab Aides support the unit. The assignment duration is 8 weeks, starting 10/19/2026, with potential weekend work approximately every other full weekend.
