Job Summary
Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technician - Fetal Med, Location: The healthcare provider is seeking a skilled ultrasonographer specializing in maternal fetal medicine. This position involves performing high-frequency sound wave procedures for perinatal ultrasound evaluations, assisting in diagnosing fetal conditions in utero, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job Details

  • Certifications: ARRT CERTIFICATION, ARDMS, ULTRASOUND
  • Education: Associates Degree (no specialty/major specified)
  • Licensure: AHA BLS, American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT(S) or ARDMS registry required.
  • Experience: 0 years of experience required
  • Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Shift Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Responsibilities include: preparing exam rooms, obtaining informed consent, reviewing patient history, explaining procedures, positioning patients, assessing patient status, ensuring quality imaging, coordinating documentation, communicating with patients and team members, monitoring equipment, and participating in quality initiatives.
  • Ability to float to other departments and be placed on-call during scheduled shifts may be required.
  • Skills needed: Effective communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, computer literacy, and understanding of medical terminology and anatomy preferred.
