Job Summary
Xray Technologist Location unspecified. This position involves providing imaging services within a Level I trauma emergency department, including fluoroscopy, portable X-rays, and C-Arm procedures. The role requires adaptability to working across departments, with responsibilities spanning inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting trauma and diagnostic imaging needs.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: ARRT (Registered), AHA BLS certification, Nebraska license; minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting with trauma experience preferred.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Performing fluoroscopy and diagnostic X-rays on inpatients and emergency department patients, portable X-ray procedures on patient floors, and C-Arm procedures in the operating room. Handling imaging equipment such as portable X-ray machines, C-Arms, rad rooms, and PACS systems.
- Qualifications: Proficient in trauma imaging, portable X-rays, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm procedures. Experience in trauma Level I environments is required, with additional OR experience preferred. Must be capable of floating between emergency and diagnostic departments.
