Occupational Therapist Inpatient for a healthcare provider in a rural setting. This position involves directing physical therapy services within the inpatient department, coordinating department operations, and administering prescribed physical agents. The role requires ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards while delivering quality patient care.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for overseeing physical therapy services, supervising department operations, and ensuring effective treatment delivery. Maintains performance improvement activities and participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Assists in budget formulation, department performance evaluation, and charge review processes.
- Required Qualifications: Current licensure or certification as a physical therapist, valid California license, minimum of 3 years of experience preferred, knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology, disease processes, infection control, sterile techniques, and current BCLS certification.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing assessments, managing treatment plans, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating effectively with healthcare team members.
