Job Summary
MRI Technologist MRI Location: Not Specified. This position involves performing advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures including neuro, body, and musculoskeletal studies. The role requires adherence to department protocols, operation of Siemens TIMS Symphany and 3T Trio scanners, and collaboration with in-house radiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS Certification, Certified MRI Technologist ARRT (MR); minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current ARRT-MRI certification, BLS certification, at least two years of MRI technologist experience, and valid license to submit credentials.
- Additional Information: The department performs approximately 13 scans/studies per day, utilizing EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS software and hardware. The position involves working with Siemens TIMS Symphany and 3T Trio MRI scanners, and includes responsibilities such as IV starts and limited on-call duties. Department orientation is provided during the first full week. The facility maintains an in-house radiologist.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
